The city contains a diversity of ecological niches. The more challenging the site is, the more difficult to get it right. Over the years more and more perennials have been developed for these extreme situations and their use has increased. Working professionally with plants, we need to know how to handle these plant situations and make the most out of it. Plantings that are there to function well, to look good and to be sustainable. 

Urban Growth – Perennial Plantings Beyond Nature is the first international conference of its kind. This three-day conference will gather international experts at the forefront of their fields. It also aims to provide a forum for the participants to build professional networks. 

The conference 2017 is arranged by Klinta Trädgård AB. It is held in Lund, in the south of Sweden, close to Malmö and Copenhagen.
